And they were really sweet, too. ...They WERE tiny. And they were really sweet, too. Tell dad that when he gets chickens, he has to get some peeps for you, too. They get big really really fast, though. And did you know that chickens make different clucking sounds for different reasons? I especially like the sounds they make when it's getting close to their bedtime. They all walk or fly up the little ramp into their coop and they make this strange cooing sound when they get inside. And they sort of fight with each other over who gets to sit where on the roosts.
